New Kaiser Poll on Healthcare!

A new Kaiser Family Foundation poll on Healthcare in America is out this month, and the results are quite good!

(All the following information and graphics are Kaiser Family Foundation)

Americans are very concerned about the cost of healthcare, as they should be.

The majority of Americans, Democrats/Independents/Republicans, all are motivated by health issues for this coming election

And it doesn't matter who you vote for, Americans OPPOSE reducing Medicare benefits, yet SUPPORT reducing Medicare benefits for those with high incomes!

Even 55% of Republicans are against turning Medicare into a voucher program!

Only 40% of Independents trust that Mitt Romney would make the "right" decisions about the future of the health care law.

Americans of all ages are against changing Medicare, and the older you ask, the less likely they are to support a Medicare Voucher plan that Paul Ryan is proposing!

A LARGE majority of Americans (80% of people older than 50) OPPOSE reducing Medicare benefits, and the majority SUPPORT reduing benefits for those with high incomes

The lessons should be clear, do NOT cut Medicare benefits unless you're cutting benefits for the rich. Reduce the cost of health insurance for everyone and don't try to pull the wool over voters eyes by trying to turn a hugely successful program into a "voucher" like Ryan wants!
